TenCate launches app to assist with flexible pavement designs

Company’s first iPad app focuses specifically on design software

A new app from TenCate Geosynthetics Americas is described in a March 14 press release as an assist for engineers in flexible pavement design, while concurrently demonstrating the benefits of using its Mirafi RSi woven reinforcement and stabilization geotextiles in road construction.

The app also allows users to access product data sheets and product brochures, the release said.

“We are striving to make it easier for engineers to design with geosynthetics and we think
this app helps to accomplish our goal,” said Brett Odgers, P.E., and market manager-roadway reinforcement.

The new app is available for the iPad and for download to all users through the Apple
iTunes Store (search term: TenCate).
