BASELOK® GEOCELL

BaseLok GeoCell is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and manufactured in the U.S. HDPE has been used for the most demanding industrial products since 1955. The three-dimensional cells impede lateral movement of the infill material, increasing structural strength and locking in materials for base reinforcement and erosion protection applications. Primary applications for BaseLok GeoCell are base stabilization, slope reinforcement, retaining walls and channel protection. The cell walls are perforated to allow water flow through the system, creating improved root zone between cells for vegetated applications. On concrete-filled GeoCells, the HDPE matrix becomes the form for the concrete. There is no need for wood forms or rebar. The panels are expanded and the concrete poured directly into the BaseLok GeoCell.

DRAINGREAT™

DrainGreats are primarily used on soil nail walls to convey water from drainboard to a PVC pipe. DrainGreats have been used in tie-back retaining walls and segmental block walls. There also has been interest in conveying methane from landfills into a piping system. DrainGreats were developed by the owner of a geotechnical construction firm for use with soil nail walls when no similar solution existed. They positively attach to the drainboard and hold up to the excessive force of applied shotcrete. DrainGreats are cost-effective and easy to install.

HydraNet is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly solution for lateral fluid and gas transmission. GSE® LEAK LOCATION SUITE

The GSE Leak Location Suite is a comprehensive system developed to locate leaks in installed geomembranes both before and after water or soil placement. The system includes the GSE Leak Location Conductive geomembrane liner, the patented Iso-wedge and the S-100 Spark Tester. The conductive geomembrane allows electrical leak surveys to be performed on exposed (bare) and covered applications using both the spark and dipole testing methods, with higher reliability than surveys over non-conductive geomembranes. The co-extruded conductive layer eliminates the need to use soil and water to create a conductive layer underneath the geomembrane for testing. To improve test accuracy and reliability, Solmax developed the Iso-wedge, which allows for the proper preparation and testing of the GSE Leak Location Conductive geomembrane by isolating the upper seam flap and eliminating false positives during the ELL surveys. It is designed to be fitted onto a typical fusion welding machine for easy use. The Solmax Spark Tester S-100 identifies leaks with high accuracy on exposed liners. The S-100 comes with three electrodes to allow the technician greater flexibility in detecting leaks across the varying geometry of the survey surface.
