Axter Coletanche Inc.

AXTER is a leading manufacturer of bituminous geomembrane COLETANCHE® used to waterproof civil engineering projects. Its high performance and adaptability to all types of terrain and climates means that it can be installed without a protection layer for a variety of applications including environment: solid and liquid waste, mining, biogas barriers; hydraulics: dams, canals, basins; transport: bridges, roadside ditches, airports, railway lines; and underground construction: walls, tunnels. COLETANCHE ES and XP are unique bituminous waterproofing solutions thanks to their large width (5.10m) and their longevity: they’re designed to guarantee excellent mechanical, chemical and climatical (even with extreme weather conditions) resistance. Their composition gives a remarkable dimensional stability and flexibility, guaranteeing permanent contact with all covering materials and the supporting ground through the years, even on steeper slopes.

TYPAR Geosynthetics

The BIOBARRIER root and weed control system manages roots through the slow, controlled release of Trifluralin, a non-systemic herbicide that has been used in food crop production for more than 40 years. Nodules containing Trifluralin are through-injection-molded durable TYPAR GEOTEXTILE fabric, creating a continuous chemical and physical barrier against roots without impeding the flow of water, air or nutrients. Roots growing into the zone of inhibition are stopped, not just redirected. Used vertically, the BIOBARRIER root control system protects adjacent structures from root damage. Installed horizontally below 3” of stone/wood mulch, the BIOBARRIER weed control system blocks weed establishment using two layers of defense: chemical and physical. BIOBARRIER Surround System, BIOBARRIER’S unique geotextile design, lends it the flexibility to surround infrastructure, extending the life of your investment.

Renegade Plastics

Renegade’s polypropylene-based coated fabrics offer a new tool to geomembrane installers and users. As a coated woven fabric, users get the strength benefits of PVC fabrics and coated non-wovens; but with the non-toxic, lightweight and flexible characteristics of woven poly and engineered films. Applications include tarps, ground liners, pond liners, construction liners, ditch liners, temporary construction plastic, cone pile covers, fabric structures, etc.

AGRU America Inc.

Unlike existing methods of cleaning and preparing field welds, which rely on time-consuming manual inspections and cleaning, AGRU CleanSeam protective strip is removed before welding occurs and leaves behind no residue—only a clean, weld-ready geomembrane. AGRU CleanSeam can be integrated into all AGRU geomembranes to provide significant time and cost savings during the weld phase of geomembrane installation by mitigating the risk of particle buildup. The protective release film protects the geomembrane weld edges from exposure to field conditions.

Afitex-Texel Geosynthetics

DRAINTUBE LFG is a multi-linear drainage geocomposite composed of perforated mini-pipes regularly spaced between two geotextiles layers. DRAINTUBE can be used in multiple landfill applications, including landfill gas collection on final covers, fugitive gas collection on temporary covers, and horizontal LFG collection in the waste mass. DRAINTUBE can also be used in a sub-slab-depressurization system under buildings (for Radon or VOC mitigation). A Quick Connect System has been developed to positively connect the DRAINTUBE LFG to the main header pipe, limiting the head losses and improving the gas collection rate. DRAINTUBE LFG offers a more significant zone of influence to collect the gas and stable long-term performances. Rolls of DRAINTUBE LFG measure 13.1’ x 246’ and are light and easy to install.

Thrace Group

Thrace Group geogrids/geocomposites can be used both to decrease the fill material thickness and to increase the bearing capacity of the underlying soil material. The apertures of the biaxial geogrids aid in aggregate interlock thus allowing for effective reinforcement and soil confinement. Geogrids can also be used to construct mattresses to be placed on soft soils. Geogrid composites also offer separation and filtration functions in addition to the function of reinforcement. With the strategic geographic dispersion of member companies, enhanced logistics and improved lead times are secured to ensure fast and reliable product deliveries even for smaller order quantities. Converting over 100,000 tons of PP, PE and PET polymers through a vertically integrated business model attains unique cost advantages that are passed on to customers through value-for-money products.

Demtech

The Pro-Puller allows for faster, safer, more efficient deployment of all grades of geosynthetic materials and saving labor. The high capacity spool allows for quick and easy long distance pulls up to 1200’+ (366m). Steel rollers prevent wear on the rope or cable when making pulls at an angle, and is rated for a line speed up to 190ft/minute. This winch was designed to be durable, maneuverable, lightweight and to support job-site safety. It is designed and manufactured in the USA by Demtech.

E Squared Technical Textiles

ER 1000 EIA/KEE coated fabrics are effective in primary and secondary containment applications including wastewater baffles and EPS geofoam protection. The coated fabrics are available in two designs: potable water NSF 61 applications, and hydrocarbon and chemical-resistant applications. ER 1000 EIA/KEE are reinforced with a ballistic-grade, tightly woven polyester base fabric utilizing polymer blending to create a strong EIA copolymer alloy. ER 1000 fabrics offer excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions, chemicals, abrasion and punctures, as well as high UV stability. 

Concrete Canvas

Concrete Canvas® is used for a wide range of erosion control and weed suppression applications. It allows concrete construction with minimal plant and specialist training. It is five times as abrasion resistant as standard OPC concrete, has excellent chemical resistance, good weathering performance and will not degrade in UV. Typically it is 10 times faster to install than conventional solutions, essentially its Concrete on a Roll™: simply unroll and just add water. Concrete Canvas is widely used by civil engineers as a cost-effective alternative to conventional concrete for a wide range of projects including channel and ditch lining for water management, erosion control, slope protection and weed suppression. It has become accepted and established as an erosion control and containment solution across a number of sectors including civils, petrochemical and mining.

Afitex-Texel Geosynthetics

GEOTER is a high-modulus geotextile made with high tenacity yarns, manufactured by a warp knitting process. The geotextile provides the separation/filtration function, whereas the high-tenacity yarns provide tensile strength of up to 2,000 kN/m (137,043 lb/ft). GEOTER is used for reinforcement applications including but not limited to piggyback landfills, sinkhole safety systems, reinforcement on soft soils, MSE walls, etc. GEOTER combines a reinforcement and a separation/filtration geotextile into one product, saving you installation time and money. The next generation of GEOTER pairs GEOTER with the PREDITEC systems and allows the user to monitor a reinforced structure. The GEOTER PREDITEC system can send alerts if anything unexpected happens, such as a deformation exceeding the user’s maximum value. This technology allows the user to detect a potential failure early and initiate corrective measures to secure the structure and protect safety, health and wellbeing.

Thrace Group

Thrace Nonwovens are specially designed to provide reinforcement, separation, filtration, drainage, protection and erosion control. Depending on their special mechanical and hydraulic properties, they are suitable for being used as separators to prevent the intermixing of the different soil layer types. It filters to allow the flow of fluids while preventing the passage of soil particles, and protective layers for geomembranes in landfills. Having control over the entire manufacturing process provides the opportunity to intervene at various production phases to come up with innovative products that fulfil special customer requirements. Propex Geosolutions

PYRAMAT® 75 HPTRM and PYRAMAT® 25 TRM are now engineered to mitigate fire risk and increase the resilience of wildfire-prone areas using non-halogen fire retardant technology. Non-halogenated flame retardants work by interfering with the chemistry of the flame, producing less heat and suppressing smoke. Additionally, they don’t pose the associated health and environmental concerns as halogenated retardants. Testing confirms that this technology has a zero-burn rate and is self-extinguishing. Primary applications are erosion control and slope stabilization for areas prone to wildfires, high-risk fire zones, railbeds, landfills, defensible spaces and burn scar remediation.

Atarfil

ATARFIL HD TM-TMT is a structured textured geomembrane manufactured from best-in-class, HDPE resins coupled with a specific antioxidant package by the most advanced in-house flat-die technology. This results in a consistent quality product with maximum durability and long-term performance. The structured texturing process ensures that excellent mechanical properties and elongation at break values are maintained. The regularity and the density of spikes extremely improve friction. Primary applications include waste/environment, landfills, water ponds, conveyance, canals, heap leach pads, tailing dams and process ponds.

ATARFIL HD EVO is manufactured from best-in-class HDPE resins coupled with a specific antioxidant package by the most advanced in-house flat-die technology. The result is a consistent quality product with maximum durability and long-term performance. Specifically developed for the most demanding environmental applications, these geomembranes offer stress cracking resistance >3000 hours and HDPE formulations that increase key longevity properties. Applications include hazardous waste, landfills, heap leach pads, tailing dams and brine ponds.

Presto GeoSystems

GEOWEB 3D Geocells are a 40+-year proven solution for solving soil stabilization challenges on unpaved and paved roadways, slope, channels, and retaining walls. With the high-strength HDPE system, infill materials are confined and stable within the 3D structure, reducing cross-section requirements up to 60%, allowing lower cost onsite fill and minimized maintenance. Inland Tarp & Liner

ITL Reinforced Concrete Roll®, (ITL RCR®), is a dry powdered concrete that is encapsulated between two pieces of non-woven geotextile, then needle punched together introducing fibers that reinforce the concrete. When rolled out and hydrated, ITL RCR® cures within 24 hours creating an armor-like surface. ITL RCR® roll sizes are 5m x 20m, (~16’4” x ~65’7”), and can be installed in dry weather, rain, underwater, and without traditional heavy cement trucks, mixing, forms, or rebar. One side of ITL RCR® is made up of Polypropylene (PP), a 6-ounce, non-woven geotextile. The other side of ITL RCR® is a composite of 6-ounce non-woven PP and 4.5-ounce calendered non-woven PP that is needle-punched together. When conventional concrete is cost, space, or time-prohibitive, ITL RCR® provides a flexible solution that exceeds performance expectations and longevity in applications like erosion control, slope protection, channel lining, irrigation canals, containment ponds, and more

TechFab India

TechFab India introduces an innovative, sustainable solution, TechGeo Mattress, which controls soil erosion at river banks and coastal areas. Major advantages of the TechGeo Mattress protection system include a flexible and robust protection system that promotes natural vegetation growth, and reduces the uplift pressure due to its permeable structure. It has less O&M cost, is highly UV resistant (>80% @ 500 Hrs), has an aesthetic green look with rapid installation, and is economical, efficient and easy to transport. TechGeo Mattress (TGM) is a double-layered 3D tubular green mattress used to form a protection system at the seashore and over the surface of a water channel. Primary application areas are river engineering: river bank protection, canal lining, soil erosion control, bridge abutment and pier protection, reservoir lining, river training works and landscaping over slopes; and ocean engineering: sea shore protection, sea wall and revetments, and spurs and groynes.

GeoArme Wall Structures are systems consisting of structural filling, back filling, reinforcement and front face elements. ForTex Geogrids are high-strength materials manufactured by knitted polyester yarns in the rectangular form and covered with polymeric coating, developed for BX Bi-Directional, UX Uni-Directional or GC GeoComposite geogrid requirements for various applications of civil engineering.

Demtech

The Pro-SRT and Pro-ART were designed to quickly remove rows of anchors on CPLs during the field welding or factory fabrication process. These lightweight and durable tools come with router, 7/8” bit and guide plates for both machine and transverse direction. These guides prevent the router bit from damaging the base sheet while cutting the anchors flush to the surface. The ergonomic handles provide a comfortable grip when removing long rows of anchors.
