Woven Geotextiles

Thrace Group

Thrace Group Woven Geotextiles are produced from 100% polypropylene and are specially designed to provide reinforcement, separation, filtration, drainage and erosion control. Depending on their special mechanical and hydraulic properties, they may act as separators to prevent the intermixing of the different soil layer types. It filters to allow the flow of fluids while preventing the passage of soil particles and reinforcement for weak soils to increase the load bearing capacity. Converting over 110,000 tons of PP, PE polymers through a vertically integrated business model, unique cost advantages are attained and passed on to customers through value-for-money products. A one-to-one relationship approach is followed with customers in order to understand their geosynthetic project needs and provide them with customized solutions backed up with technical support.

Megaplast Conductive Geomembranes

Megaplast

Megaplast Conductive Geomembranes are the most effective, faster and practical means for locating leaks in installed geomembranes, particularly at post-installation after cover soil placement. These conductive geomembranes increase the effectiveness of “water-lance” leak surveys and do not require a conductive subsurface. Spark testing of Megaplast Conductive Geomembranes does not require water flooding with its added expenses and time consuming delays. Primary markets and applications include landfill liners and caps/covers; mining applications; floating covers in exposed conditions; secondary containment; coal ash residual containment; and for reservoirs, ponds, and dams.

Draintube Conductive Series

Afitex-Texel Geosynthetics

The DRAINTUBE Conductive Series of products offers an effective solution to enhance the security of containment facilities. DRAINTUBE Conductive geocomposites incorporate electric conductive elements specifically designed for Electrical Leak Location (ELL) surveys. Multi-linear geocomposite DRAINTUBE Conductive can be used as a leak detection layer between two geosynthetic liners. It is a single product and a single installation offering numerous functions such as filtration, drainage, mechanical protection and electric conductivity. Therefore, using DRAINTUBE Conductive will result in an functional, watertight installation that requires less labor to install and test.

TYPAR Geocell

TYPAR Geosynthetics

TYPAR GEOCELL utilizes the strength and permeability of a geotextile to create a 3D cellular confinement system. The cell walls are permeable to water, air and nutrients, increasing stability and vegetative performance. The TYPAR GEOCELL system ships in compacted panel form and expands into a honeycomb formation to the desired shape and dimension on-site. The unique, lightweight, flexible material conforms to surface variations to improve ease of installation while resisting impact damage. The cellular structure of the TYPAR GEOCELL system improves resistance to erosive forces on steep, unstable or sloped surfaces exposed to severe hydraulic or mechanical stresses. Variable cell depths and diameters provide cost-effective options for protection up to 1:1 (45 deg) slopes. TYPAR GEOCELL cells transfer downward forces laterally, reducing loads on underlying soils. The cellular confinement system is an ideal solution.

XR Geomembranes

Seaman Corporation

XR Geomembranes have a broad range of chemical resistance and physical properties for use as a UV-exposed, puncture-resistant liner. Engineered for performance, XR Geomembranes deliver high puncture strength, abrasion resistance and low thermal expansion and contracting properties. XR®-FR meets the requirements of ULC S668, the standard for liners used for secondary containment of aboveground flammable and combustible liquid tanks. This standard sets forth the minimum requirements of liners used for secondary containment under and around the area of tanks that are installed aboveground for the storage of flammable liquids and combustible liquids.

Neoloy Tough-Cells

PRS Geo-Technologies

Neoloy Tough-Cells from PRS are a sustainable soil stabilization and road reinforcement cellular confinement system. Made of NPA (Novel Polymeric Alloy) with the long-term stiffness, strength and creep resistance required by ASTM and ISO geocell standards, Neoloy Tough-Cells are suitable for all types of transportation and infrastructure projects, as well as the natural resources and energy sectors; earth stabilization; drainage and stormwater management; and reservoirs and landfills. Neoloy Tough-Cells stabilize soft subgrade soils and reinforce the base layer of roads, rail and other pavements. This extends service life and reduces maintenance compared to conventional solutions. Design with Neoloy optimizes construction time and costs by reducing the thickness of structural and asphalt layers, while enabling the use of recycled and marginal soils for structural infill. This lowers the construction and carbon footprints and promotes sustainable solutions.

Sure-Grip Concrete Protective Liner

AGRU America Inc.

AGRU Sure-Grip Concrete Protective Liners, made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), high-density electrically conductive polyethylene (HDPE-el), polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE), are produced with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Sure-Grip prevents concrete corrosion and degradation, extends the life of structures, and helps prevent exfiltration of material into the environment. Sure-Grip liners have unique anchoring systems that enable construction in areas of significant back pressure. Unlike spray-applied liners, which must be reapplied regularly due to cracking or delamination, Sure-Grip liners are long lasting.

Macmat R

Maccaferri

Maccaferri Macmat® R is a geomat made from a three-dimensional matrix of UV stabilized, non-degradable synthetic fibers, heat bonded where they cross, extruded onto a double twisted steel woven mesh. The reinforcing hexagonal double twisted steel wire mesh has mechanical characteristics greater than the ones recommended in EN 10223-3. The steel wire is heavily galvanized and may also be protected with an extruded polymeric coating for greater protection. Markets and applications include use on vulnerable soil slopes for agribusiness, coastal and river control works, emergency and flood, environmental protection, mining, oil and gas, energy, transportation infrastructure, and urban infrastructure.
