Geosynthetics 2019 conference issues Call for Abstracts

News | January 16, 2018 | By:

The Geosynthetics 2019 conference, Feb. 10–13, 2019, at the Marriott Marquis in Houston, Texas, has issued a Call for Abstracts. Abstract submission is now open, and abstracts are due on or before April 6, 2018.

This premier geosynthetics conference, organized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International and supported by the Geosynthetic Materials Association, brings together more than 1,300 geotechnical practitioners, designers, regulators, contractors, and installers come together at this highly respected trade show event to learn the latest research, materials, applications and case studies.

The Geosynthetics 2019 Technical Program is developed, presented and vetted by experts in the geotechnical industry. Practitioners, professors and students come together to provide 25 PDH of education covering the full spectrum of geosynthetic uses. Special consideration will be given to abstracts that are related to the conference theme: Strengthening Infrastructure Safety, Reliability and Longevity.

All submissions are peer reviewed at each step of the process, including abstracts, initial drafts and final papers. At least one author from each accepted final papers must register and present the paper during the conference to guarantee publication in the proceedings.

All papers accepted and presented at the Geosynthetics 2019 conference will also be considered for publication in Geosynthetics magazine. To submit abstracts, visit GeosyntheticsConference.com.
