On Jan. 8, 2018, the Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI) launched its new website at https://www.fabricatedgeomembrane.com. The website is intended to highlight FGI research, short course information, testing specifications and guidelines, member information, geomembrane and equipment guides, technical papers and articles, and geosynthetic industry news and events.
In addition to providing current information on FGI events, research and members, the new website will allow users to access published industry articles and technical papers, as well as a new pond liner calculator, which quantifies the benefits of geomembranes. FGI members will also be able to access past short course agendas and presentations, in addition to FGI monthly meeting minutes, market survey results, annual meetings and other pertinent information.
The goal of the new website is to disseminate innovative research, testing guidelines, specifications, industry partnerships and other technology transfer that the FGI is conducting to industry professionals.
