Sediment management symposium Sept. 17-19

4th international conference at RemTech Expo in Ferrara, Italy

The 4th International Symposium on Sediment Management (I2SM) will be held in Ferrara, Italy, Sept. 17-19, 2014, during the annual RemTech Expo.

The symposium is organized by Ferrara Fiere Congressi, Politecnico di Milano–Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering–Environmental Section, and the École des Mines de Douai.

The aim of I2SM is to gather academics, industry professionals, and public agencies involved in sediment issues to discuss the state-of-the-art. Previous editions of I2SM were held in Lille (France, 2008), Casablanca (Morocco, 2010) and Alibaug (India, 2012).

The event will consist of an opening plenary session followed by parallel technical sessions.

The official language of I2SM 2014 is English. Simultaneous translation (English to Italian) is available at some of the sessions.
