Solmax hires new technical manager

Mathieu Cornellier joins Canadian geomembrane firm.

Canadian geomembrane manufacturer, Solmax Intl. Inc., announced in an Aug. 20 press release that Mathieu Cornellier has joined the company as technical manager, covering the Americas, Africa, and Europe.

Cornellier is a certified civil engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Polytechnique de Montreal. For the last 10 years, he has held positions in the construction industry, including job site engineer, project manager, and estimator on civil engineering projects, according to the release. For the past three years, Cornellier has worked for Mondo and Mondo USA, a rubber flooring manufacturer and installer, as a product manager and, most recently, as Mondo USA’s director of construction.

The press release said that as Solmax’s technical manager, Cornellier is “responsible for the technical commercialization of Solmax products and will support the sales team with his expertise in project specifications and product applications.” He will also oversee the company’s technical related communications.
