Quarterly publication available in 2014.

Professors Jonathan Wu and Hoe Ling announced in an Aug. 26 press release the launching of their new quarterly journal, Transportation Infrastructure Geotechnology, scheduled to debut in January 2014. The new publication will focus on the “advancement of geotechnology in transportation infrastructure.”

The press release noted that “Transportation infrastructure in many parts of the world is in dire need of repair, rehabilitation, and new construction … [During] the past two decades, most new developments and innovations in transportation infrastructure have arguably been in the area of geotechnology. Most notably, new construction materials (such as geosynthetics, chemical-treated soil, and recycled materials) have been employed with increasing frequency in earthwork construction.”

According to the release, the publication will feature original peer-reviewed technical papers, review articles, and technical notes.
