TenCate introduces case study video

TenCate Geosynthetics has developed a new 7-minute video, “TenCate at Work Around the Globe,” which describes several of its world-wide projects, said a press release issued by the company May 4. The projects featured in the video illustrate the variety of possibilities and applications using geotextile materials.

“This new case study video showcases various products, systems, and applications that highlight the capabilities of TenCate and our focus on innovation in geosynthetics around the world,” said Brett Odgers, market manager at TenCate Geosynthetics Americas.

Also featured in the video are applications such as mechanically-stabilized earth (MSE) wrapped-face walls and basal-reinforced embankments on piles.

In addition, the video highlights two relatively new products:

• TenCate Mirafi® RS580i roadway reinforcement—a new “high-strength, woven, multi-layered geotextile.”
• TenCate GeoDetect®, described by the press release as “the industry’s first smart geosynthetic.”
