Firestone, EPIC announce partnership

Firestone Specialty Products is now the exclusive distributor for the EPIC Green System and associated water systems in North America.

EPIC Green Solutions, an international water-management company featuring stormwater, subsurface irrigation, and drainage systems, announced this week that it has completed an agreement with Firestone Building Products Co., a subsidiary of Firestone–North America.

The strategic partnership now positions Firestone Specialty Products, a division of Firestone Building Products, as the exclusive North American distributor for the EPIC product line, according to an April 25 press release.

The agreement was signed during the Firestone Specialty Products annual sales meeting during the Geo-Frontiers conference in Dallas, Texas, in March.

EPIC Green Solutions, the holder of world-wide rights to the EPIC (Environmental Passive Integrated Chamber) system, launched its international offices in the UAE in October 2010 in addition to its existing offices in the U.S.

The new partnership aligns the companies so that the EPIC technology is combined with Firestone’s geomembrane products—a symbiotic business arrangement to market and install the irrigation/water-management system.
