EFI USA (EFI) and EC Applications (ECA) have merged, combining their complementary expertise in environmental construction, geosynthetic membrane installation and infrastructure delivery.
The combined organization serves clients across environmental, agricultural, industrial, and federal sectors. Together, the organization brings turnkey construction; geosynthetic lining systems for landfill, mining, and tunnel applications; biogas capture and floating covers; wastewater facility construction; and erosion control construction, all across multiple project delivery methods.
EFI USA contributes turnkey project delivery, engineering depth, and program management capabilities across environmental, agricultural, industrial and federal markets with expertise in biogas and wastewater systems, both domestic and internationally. ECA has built a reputation for delivering critical environmental containment and infrastructure for mining, tunneling, landfill, and water / wastewater control in geographies west of the Mississippi River.
The merger was effective June 8.
“This merger brings together two organizations that have a long history and have each earned strong reputations in environmental containment construction,” said Ben Wilson, President of EFI USA. “The result is an organization built to take on larger, more complex projects in more markets than either company could pursue independently.”
“EC Applications was built on technical excellence and a commitment to safe, sustainable environmental solutions,” added Chris Fore, VP of EC Applications. “Joining forces with EFI USA is the natural next step, it gives us the resources and platform to serve more clients and tackle larger, more complex projects across the entire country.”
