Geoquest plans to acquire Grupo TDM geosynthetics division

Geoquest has signed an agreement to acquire the geosynthetics division of Grupo TDM. The acquisition, which is subject to approval by the relevant authorities, is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

TDM’s geosynthetics division is active in Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, employs 220 people, generated $80 million in revenue in 2025, and has designed and supplied waterproofing, soil stabilization, soil drainage and erosion protection solutions for more than 30 years. Its plants in Peru and Brazil produce waterproofing geomembranes and geocells (cellular confinement systems).
