As we continue to deal with the implications of the pandemic, the Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA) is making every effort to maintain our influence with federal and state governments to position our industry for success. We have been successful in connecting virtually with individual congressional members during these “shelter in” months. With this success we are moving forward with our Fall Lobby Day “fly-in” to be virtual as well. Many members of Congress are now advocating for our industry, in large part due to GMA’s lobbying efforts along with the support and involvement of GMA members. It is critical that GMA members continue to educate members of Congress about national issues affecting companies within their districts and states. GMA appreciates the hard work of our members and will continue to be a strong industry advocate.
Lobby Day is a prime benefit for GMA members. In past years during our in-person lobby day, we charged nonmembers $1,000 to attend. Continuing forward lobbying efforts will be available to members only. The cost of GMA membership is $850 and up. To learn about GMA membership and taking part in this great opportunity please use the membership link below. If you have questions regarding membership, lobby day or GMA general questions please contact GMA’s executive director, Fred Chuck or GMA’s assistant Jessica Kivijarvi.
We will make every effort to schedule meetings with your individual congressional delegation.
