IGS-NA cosponsors Tailings and Mine Waste 2020 conference

The North American Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS North America) board is pleased to announce our cosponsorship of the virtual Tailings and Mine Waste 2020 conference, Nov. 15–18, 2020. This conference carries a strong geosynthetics short course and technical track focused on geosynthetic applications in mill tailings and mine waste. The Tailings and Mine Waste Conference provides a forum for presenting the latest updates with respect to mill tailings and mine waste, and for discussing current and future issues facing the mining and environmental communities.
