Owens Corning has named Carl Baca as the company’s liaison to the Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA) executive council. Baca takes the place of Andy Durham, who left Owens Corning for a position with Erosion Control Systems of Florida.
Baca is in charge of marketing for Owens Corning Geosynthetics. He is actively working to position Owens Corning and its brands as the market leader for water containment and retention applications. He has a broad business to business and business to consumer marketing background that includes previous roles at Coca-Cola, Georgia-Pacific and Leo Burnett advertising. He and his wife Stacy live in Toledo, Ohio, with their three sons.
