News | April 29, 2019 | By:

After completion of an extensive worldwide investment program, which includes multiple new engineering and production facilities as well as an extended sales network, HUESKER is now strengthening its management structure.

Having taken HUESKER’s U.S. subsidiary to a new level, Sven Schröer will return to the headquarters in Germany and will join the Management Board as managing director effective June 11, 2019. In his new role, Schröer will be in charge of HUESKER’s geosynthetic sales and engineering activities worldwide.

“Appointing Sven into the Management Board is the next logical step in our worldwide expansion strategy, as it will ensure that HUESKER’s winning formulas are being applied throughout the world,“ said Dr. F.- Hans Grandin, chair of the Management Board.

Effective May 1, 2019, Flávio Teixeira Montez will take over Schröer’s current responsibility as CEO of the U.S. subsidiary HUESKER Inc. in Charlotte, N.C. Montez cofounded HUESKER Ltda in São José dos Campos, Brazil, in 1998, which he developed into one of the most successful subsidiaries within the HUESKER Group.

André Estêvão Ferreira da Silva, who joined HUESKER 20 years ago and has been an integral part of the success in Brazil, already took over as the new managing director of HUESKER Ltda. from Montez on April 1, 2019.

“We are very glad that we are able to fill these key positions internally with top managers, who have a proven and long-term track record,” said Grandin. Schröer added: “I am very much looking forward to assume my new responsibility in this enhanced constellation, which will be the foundation to elevate the HUESKER Group to the next level.”
