Baton Rouge, La.-based Environmental Specialties International Inc. (ESI) announced in a press release issued last week that Art Mohr Jr. is joining the company as director of business development.
Mohr is known in the environmental business for the commercialization of exposed geomembrane solar cover systems during his tenure at Carlisle Construction.
With the hiring of Mohr, former business development director Carolyn Johnson has been promoted to national sales manager and placed in charge of all ESI sales nationwide.
The press release said that Johnson and Mohr will jointly lead ESI’s sales force and will report to Ealon “Junior” Thompson, vice president of sales and marketing. They will work together to develop new business and offer customer service to current clients.
ESI provides environmental and hazardous waste containment systems, completing more than 2,000 projects in the waste management, mining, power, petrochemical, energy, and agricultural industries.
