The Fabricated Geomembrane Institute (FGI at the University of Illinois/Urbana-Champaign), presented its inaugural Fabricated Geomembrane Engineering Innovation Award to the Yorba Linda, Calif.-based Hilts Consulting Group Inc.
The award was presented April 11, 2016, in Miami Beach, Fla. during the Geo-Americas conference. The FGI Award provides recognition for engineers who have creatively used fabricated geomembranes to successfully fulfill a client’s need, including technical requirements, scheduling, and budget.
The Hilts Consulting Group was selected as the 2016 recipient of the FGI Award based on its engineering work for the Morro Reservoir rehabilitation project in Fallbrook, Calif.
