Fiji-based Vinod Patel, a dealer in hardware and building material products, recently launched a new and enhanced Dura Force geosynthetic product range at the Vinod Patel office at Centrepoint.
Vinod Patel exclusively distributes the products, supplied by Cirtex Solutions Ltd. Larry Judd and Mackenzie Watt of Cirtex Industries Limited presented on geosynthetic products at the launch. Judd said their new aim is to give local engineers support.
About Dura Force Geosynthetic Products
DURAMESH reinforced soil system
It is an engineered reinforced soil system with a steel mesh facing for slopes up to 90 degrees. The facing can either be vegetated or filled with stone gabion.
SECUGRID multidirectional Geogrid
It is used for reinforcing pavements, soft subgrades and increasing capacity of building platforms. The reinforcement element is highly oriented polypropylene bar drawn to achieve a high modulus and strength at low elongation and radial stiffness.
DURAFORCE AS Range: non-woven textile
These are range of needle punched engineering fabrics for drainage, filtration, separation, reinforcement and protection.
DURAFORCE WG Range: Polypropylene woven textile
These are manufactured from the extrusion into a polypropylene into flat tape which is then bundled and woven to form the geo-textile.
