Using geosynthetic-reinforced soil in Pennsylvania
A major component of the plan is improvement and reconstruction of the state’s roads and bridges. One particularly innovative engineering initiative that PennDOT is using to improve and replace bridges is called geosynthetic-reinforced soil (GRS).
