EC16 Feb. 16-19 in San Antonio

Following on the heels of its recently completed 2015 conference and exhibition, the Denver-based International Erosion Control Association (IECA) issued a press release this week calling for submissions for its Environmental Connection 2016 (EC16).

EC15 was held last month in Portland, Ore., a widely-hailed co-located event with the Industrial Fabrics Association International’s (IFAI) Geosynthetics 2015 conference.

EC16 will be held Feb. 16-19, at the San Antonio Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The release noted that continuing education is a cornerstone of the annual EC conference, with IECA receiving submissions from around the globe from instructors hoping to present at this event. For its 2016 conference, IECA has four education tracks:

  • erosion and sediment control.
  • stormwater management.
  • MS4 management.
  • surface water restoration.

IECA is focusing on the relevant issues and challenges facing erosion control and stormwater quality management professionals, according to the press release.

All relevant topics in the four education tracks will be considered for presentation. The deadline to submit an abstract is May 29, 2015.
