New woven geosynthetic product is RS280i.
In a May 16 press release, TenCate Geosynthetics Americas announced its third patent pending geosynthetic for road and railway reinforcement—TenCate Mirafi RS280i.
The release noted that this woven geotextile completes the Mirafi RSi series of geosynthetics for base reinforcement and subgrade stabilization, preceded by RS580i in 2010 and RS380i in 2011.
TenCate Mirafi RS280i combines high modulus, high permittivity, high separation, and a high coefficient of interaction to maximize its benefit for road and railway performance, according to the press release.
“We are constantly exploring ways to improve our product portfolio to provide the most economical solutions to project owners,” said Brett Odgers, market manager/roadway reinforcement. “… we felt a final product was needed to complete the series to provide the best solution for all road and railway reinforcement and stabilization projects.”
