Tensar International announced in a Dec. 17 press release the sale of Endurablend Systems assets and business to New Jersey-based Pavement Surface Coatings (PSC).

The release said sale will allow Tensar to refocus certain assets and resources on its growing portfolio of site development solutions and pavement optimization technologies and was concluded after consideration of various options for either growing or divesting the business.

The press release described Endurablend Systems as “a portfolio of polymer cement slurry surfacing products that are used in pavement preservation applications as well as in niche applications such as color surfacing, bridge deck sealing, and aviation.”

PSC said it views the Endurablend Systems business as core to its growth strategy and will assume many of Tensar’s Endurablend Systems customer relationships in the U.S. Tensar will retain rights to the Endurablend Systems intellectual property in certain territories outside the U.S.

Atlanta-based Tensar will support PSC during the next several weeks as it transitions Endurablend Systems customers and vendors, according to the release.
