GSE continues its series of “Geosynthetics 4 Success” technical seminars at three sites this fall.
The Atlanta day-long seminar is Sept. 28 at the Evergreen Marriott Conference Center. The focus of this seminar is the use of geosynthetics in coal ash, solid waste, hazardous waste, and liquid containment applications.
Expert speakers in Atlanta include: J.P. Giroud, Frank Ney from the U.S. EPA, Craig Benson from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Richard Brachman from Queen’s University. Also, technical experts from GSE will be at the event.
Oct. 13, the “4 Success“ seminar will be at the Omni Hotel in Pittsburgh. The primary topics include the latest developments in geosynthetics and the use of geosynthetics in shale-gas and coal-ash containment applications.
Speakers for the Pittsburgh event include: Robert Koerner from the Geosynthetic Institute, Carla L. Suszkowski from Range Resources, Steve Socash and Michael Forbeck from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and Craig Benson from Wisconsin-Madison.
A third seminar is in Charlotte Nov. 3.
Professional development hours (PDHs) and continuing education units (CEUs) are available for participants.
