New website showcases Fiberweb’s Defencell

Fiberweb has launched a new website that features its Defencell Force Protection Systems, a lightweight ballistic and blast barrier solution that offers weight and space savings, according to a December news release.

Created for U.S. military personnel, DefencellUSA.com provides performance data that highlights how the Defencell system can reduce the number of containers necessary to transport and construct ballistics fortifications in both training and combat, the release stated.

The 100% fabric system features a self-stabilizing honeycomb design that eliminates the need for heavy metal wires or hard plastic. The new website provides an interactive catalog and product comparisons that demonstrate how the product’s weight savings can translate to safer delivery.

Site visitors can view videos, product applications, and technical specifications. The site also allows commanders and field engineers to download detailed CAD models and installation guides.
