TenCate Geosynthetics North America has introduced Internet-based MiraSpec Design Solutions Software, a software program designed to assist engineers in flexible pavement design, according to a Sept. 7 press release from the company.
This software also outlines the role of TenCate’s new RS580i woven reinforcement and stabilization geotextile in roadway construction.
The MiraSpec software allows pavement designers to perform AASHTO and flexible pavement Structural Number (SN) design calculations, with or without geosynthetic materials, the release stated. Designers can also calculate the cost savings and “green” savings using RS580i.
