The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has announced a variety of findings and recommendations for the geosynthetics industry. The FICCI teamed up with the Office of Textile Commissioner in the Ministry of Textiles to hold a conference titled “Geosynthetics: Opportunities and Challenges” in Mumbai, India, where the industry was discussed at length. Recommendations and observations made by the FICCI span several topics, including quality control, contracts, nonwoven technology, research, development, awareness, and education.
