PYRAMAT® 75 HPTRM and PYRAMAT® 25 TRM are now engineered to mitigate fire risk and increase the resilience of wildfire-prone areas using non-halogen fire retardant technology. Non-halogenated flame retardants work by interfering with the chemistry of the flame, producing less heat and suppressing smoke. Additionally, they don’t pose the associated health and environmental concerns as halogenated retardants. Testing confirms that this technology has a zero-burn rate and is self-extinguishing. Primary applications are erosion control and slope stabilization for areas prone to wildfires, high-risk fire zones, railbeds, landfills, defensible spaces and burn scar remediation.
