Atarfil announces acquisition of Garden City Geotech

On Feb. 26, 2018, Atarfil, headquartered in Atarfe (Granada) Spain, announced the acquisition of Garden City Geotech of Heatherton, Victoria, Australia.

Atarfil said in a press release, “The complementary nature of the Garden City Geotech acquisition is expected to enable us to raise our strengths by combining solid local expertise and presence in the Australian market, integrated within the Atarfil business model. We are planning to integrate the existing Australian structure to ensure our best local support in all Asia-Pacific region.”

Atarfil, which began its industrial activity in 1995, focuses on the development, manufacturing and marketing of geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids, geocomposites, geocells, geocontainers and other complementary products for applications including environmental protection, integrated water management, public works and construction. Garden City Geotech is Australia’s largest manufacturer of HDPE geomembranes.
