Layfield presents April seminar on geosynthetics products and services in Fort McMurray, Alberta

Layfield Construction Products announced it will present an on-site seminar on “New Geosynthetic Products and Services for Municipal and Civil Infrastructure Applications” at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Fort McMurray, Alb., Canada, on April 28, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. MDT.

The company said the seminar will include multiple presentations throughout the day showcasing some major innovations in Layfield geosynthetics for the municipal and civil sectors. The seminar will emphasize the advantages of these innovations for your projects, and it is a perfect chance to connect with your geosynthetics peers.

Presentations will cover geogrids, wicking fabrics, geotextiles, anchor-reinforced geosynthetic vegetation systems, geosynthetics for MSE walls and slopes, and more, Layfield said. Applications include soil reinforcement, stormwater control, sediment control, turbidity and a variety of additional infrastructure uses.

The seminar costs $25 and qualifies for PDH credit. Lunch is included.
