The Transportation Research Board (TRB) will conduct a webinar on Feb. 28, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST featuring research from the Airport Cooperative Research Program’s Report 159: Pavement Maintenance Guidelines for General Aviation Airport Management and Research Report 178: Guidance for Usage of Permeable Pavement at Airports.
The webinar will discuss the development of a web-based airport pavement maintenance recommendation tool and the tool’s use in helping general aviation personnel choose the appropriate treatment based on the conditions, climate and the Federal Aviation Administration’s airport classification of the facility. The presenters will also provide guidance on applying permeable pavements at airports.
