Solmax names Jim Hamakiotis as COO

Solmax has announced the appointment of Jim Hamakiotis as chief operating officer, reporting directly to President and CEO Bob Gilligan.

In this new role, Hamakiotis will oversee global operations – including supply chain, manufacturing and operational excellence – while working closely with the company’s regional business teams to ensure seamless execution and customer service excellence worldwide.

“Jim brings a wealth of experience in driving operational efficiency, leading large-scale manufacturing, and building resilient global supply chains,” Gilligan said. “His leadership will help us deliver on our commitment to innovation, quality, flawless execution and growth.”

With more than two decades of industrial experience, Hamakiotis has led global teams to achieve step-change improvements in productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
