Geosynthetics Conference opens call for abstracts

The call for abstracts for Geosynthetics Conference 2027 is now open. You are able to submit abstract submissions for technical papers of all types.

Conference organizers are looking for submissions on the following topics:

  • Bridges and Foundations
  • Case Studies
  • Conveyance and Storage
  • Dams and Levees
  • Drainage
  • Energy
  • Environmental (waste containment, tailings, etc.)
  • Hydraulics
  • Hydro-Fracking
  • Innovative Applications
  • Landfills
  • Mining and Drilling
  • New Materials
  • Shoreline and Water Protection
  • Soil Erosion
  • Transportation
  • Walls, Embankments and Slopes
  • Other Geosynthetic Applications or Topics


The 2027 Geosynthetics Conference will be co-located with the International Erosion Control Association’s (IECA) Annual Conference on Feb. 21–24, 2027 in Reno, Nev. Attendees will have access to the education from both shows so plan for an expanded audience! Authors, instructors and session chairs receive special pricing on registration. Final papers will be published in the official show proceedings and available in the geosynthetics proceedings archive.
