ASTM hosting GCL workshop in Denver

The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) will hold the workshop “Advances in Characterization of Hydraulic Barrier Performance of GCLs” at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Colorado on June 5.

Chaired by Kent von Maubeuge of NAUE GmbH & Co. KG, the workshop will cover test prescription, long-term hydraulic performance, equipment and laboratory methods, and the ASTM vs. ISO test method. Presenters include Bob Mackey, J. P. Kline, Henning Ehrenberg, Chuck Shackelford, Craig Benson, Kuo Tian, Jeff Kuhn, Joe Scalia, Sarah Gustitus-Graham and George Koerner.

The event is sponsored by the ASTM Committee D35 on Geosynthetics. The workshop is free for ASTM members and students, and is $50 in advance or $75 on-site for nonmembers.
