Webinar – Landfill Methane Generation and Gas Collection and Control Systems – September 24

The Flexible Geomembrane Institute will be hosting a free webinar at Noon CDT, Sept. 24, 2026.

This webinar will provide an overview of landfill methane generation and gas collection and control systems (GCCS), drawing on lessons from a comprehensive field research program at a modern landfill. It will highlight how multiple measurement technologies, combined with gas collection system operational data, provide new insights into methane emissions and collection performance. The session will focus on practical applications for improving methane mitigation and landfill gas management.

The webinar is presented by Tarek Abichou of Florida State University and is eligible for 1.0 PDH.
