Webinar – Town of Paonia: Temporary Water Storage Solution – April 1

News | March 13, 2026 | By:

Viaflex will be hosting a free webinar at 1 p.m. EDT, April 1, 2026.

During the rehabilitation of the City of Paonia’s 2-million-gallon water storage tank, the City required a temporary containment solution capable of maintaining uninterrupted water service to the community. The project demanded a system with a capacity of 840,000 gallons that could safely accommodate varying water levels throughout the repair process. To address this need, Colorado Lining International supplied and installed a HydraStor Bladder System as a flexible, efficient, and cost-effective alternative to constructing permanent containment.

The system incorporated modular tank walls supplied and erected by Shalestone, along with a HydraStor bladder installed by Colorado Lining International and manufactured by Viaflex. Critical system components including the inlet structure, floating vents, and stormwater removal system were engineered and provided by Colorado Lining International to ensure reliable performance and seamless integration. The complete temporary containment system was delivered and installed within five days, requiring minimal site preparation and limited excavation.

The webinar will be presented by Pat Elliott, Director of Installation at Colorado Linings International, and Alex Nichols, Regional Sales Lead at Colorado Linings International.
