WOCA issues call for abstracts

The World of Coal Ash (WOCA) is now receiving abstracts for the WOCA Workshop 2025, scheduled for October 8 and 9, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This workshop is co-sponsored by the team behind the World of Coal Ash (WOCA), the American Coal Ash Association, and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research.

This is the only workshop in the CCP industry that aims to explore the interplay of regulations, technologies, harvesting and market factors influencing the increasingly dynamic ash industry.

Topical areas include current regulatory issues, innovative technologies, and relevant discussions on harvesting—including engineering and consulting topics, regulatory and permitting concerns, and harvesting facilities—while emphasizing ongoing marketing challenges and inquiries.

Every effort will be made to accommodate as many speakers as possible; however, speaking spots are limited and not guaranteed.

Abstract submissions are due by Monday, March 31, 2025, with notifications regarding decisions expected no later than June 30, 2025.

Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, with formatting, including font size 12 and Times New Roman, and saved as a PDF.
