The GeoManitoba 2025 abstract submission deadline has been extended to January 15, 2025! All abstracts must be submitted online through the GeoManitoba 2025 website. As this is the 78th Canadian Geotechnical Conference and the 9th Canadian Permafrost Conference abstracts may be submitted under either the CGS or CPA/Cold Regions themes.
Please note, in order to better reflect CPA submission requirements, adjustments were made to the conference themes. Visit the Call for Abstracts page to view the updated details!
Authors will be notified regarding abstract acceptance by February 19, 2025. Invitations for full submissions will be sent by February 19, 2025 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference’s Technical Committee. For CGS themes, full technical papers will be required. For CPA themes, full papers or extended abstracts (1-2 pages) will be required. The Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) in collaboration with the Canadian Permafrost Association (CPA) invite you to GeoManitoba 2025, the 78th Canadian Geotechnical Conference and 9th Canadian Permafrost Conference. The conference will be held at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, from Sunday, September 21 to Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
