FHWA prepares for Climate Challenge &  EDC-7 EPDs for Sustainable Project Delivery Symposium 

On June 5-6, 2024, FHWA is hosting the FHWA Climate Challenge/EDC-7 Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for Sustainable Project Delivery National Symposium. During the meeting, Climate Challenge and EDC-7 EPDs for Sustainable Project Delivery participants will make presentations and participate on panel discussions to showcase their program efforts and engage in discussions for successfully implementing EPDs and lifecycle assessment (LCA).

Session topics include: Getting Started with EPDs and LCA, Benchmarks and Baseline Global Warming Potential (GWP), Exploring Innovative Materials, and Green Public Procurement.  Interested stakeholders are invited to register to join Day 1 of the meeting virtually. 

The second day of the symposium will be limited to program participants to facilitate in-person break-out discussions. Learn more about the FHWA here.
