ShearForce

Ferguson Waterworks

ShearForce is a hybrid turf and instant armoring mat that prevents surficial erosion while promoting vegetative growth. ShearForce is a stabilization alternative to riprap in channels, in outfalls, in spillways, on levees and on severe slopes. As opposed to traditional turf reinforcement mats, ShearForce does not fully rely on vegetation for stabilization; once vegetation grows through the matting, stabilization capabilities rise much higher than riprap. ShearForce requires little to no machinery and no maintenance, and provides a natural, green aesthetic with permanent erosion protection.

GEOGRID TENAX LBO HM

Geosynthetics LTD.

GEOGRID TENAX LBO HM is used in applications including reinforcement/stabilization of soils, paved roads, unpaved roads, railways, working platforms, shallow foundations and load transfer platforms. The geogrids are manufactured using a unique process of extrusion and biaxial orientation to enhance their tensile properties and overall performance when working at low strains. GEOGRID TENAX LBO HM has high strength at low deformations, high elastic modulus, a high-strength junction and increased durability against installation damage, further reducing the need for imported materials and excavation, and saving costs and time.

Drain Away geocomposite drainage system

Drainage Products Inc.

The Drain Away geocomposite drainage system drains and lowers the water table without the labor and costs of aggregate. The geocomposite is lightweight and easy to install, and requires less area, time, labor and equipment than conventional stone and pipe. The Drain Away geocomposite drainage system is effective for site drainage, curtain drains, foundations, retaining walls, slopes, erosion control, roadways and athletic fields.

EnviroGrid Geocell

Geo Products LLC

EnviroGrid Geocell can be used in applications including base stabilization, erosion control, channel protection and retaining walls. The geocell is a cellular confinement system made with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) virgin resin and manufactured in the U.S. EnviroGrid is a cost-effective and sustainable solution for erosion control problems and soil stabilization needs. The 3D structure increases the strength of infill material, boosting its weight-bearing capabilities. EnviroGrid allows for the use of local aggregates and reduces the total depth of infill material needed, further cutting costs.

Combigrid

NAUE America Inc.

Combigrid geocomposites are geogrids with an integrated nonwoven geotextile component. Combigrid soil reinforcement applications are base and subbase course stabilization and reinforcement, basal reinforcement for embankments, load transfer platforms over piles (LTP), bridging of mining voids and sinkholes, reinforced foundations, airport runways and graded portions, working platforms, pipe trenches, and lagoons/tailing ponds. Combigrid combines reinforcement, stabilization, filtration, separation and drainage in one product. The geocomposite provides immediate interlock with fill material (no construction-related strain), high tensile stiffness, high radial stiffness and high cyclic tensile stiffness.
