ShearForce is a hybrid turf and instant armoring mat that prevents surficial erosion while promoting vegetative growth. ShearForce is a stabilization alternative to riprap in channels, in outfalls, in spillways, on levees and on severe slopes. As opposed to traditional turf reinforcement mats, ShearForce does not fully rely on vegetation for stabilization; once vegetation grows through the matting, stabilization capabilities rise much higher than riprap. ShearForce requires little to no machinery and no maintenance, and provides a natural, green aesthetic with permanent erosion protection.

The geocell is a cellular confinement system made with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) virgin resin and manufactured in the U.S. EnviroGrid is a cost-effective and sustainable solution for erosion control problems and soil stabilization needs. The 3D structure increases the strength of infill material, boosting its weight-bearing capabilities. EnviroGrid allows for the use of local aggregates and reduces the total depth of infill material needed, further cutting costs.
