AGRU America Inc.

ARMORMAX is an engineered earth armoring system for severe erosion control and superficial slope stability. It is useful in applications including slope stability; river, canal and streambanks; embankments; channels; and levees. Consisting of PYRAMAT, a 3D high-performance turf reinforcement mat with X3 fiber technology, and engineered earth anchors, it provides 40% more surface area to capture moisture, soil and water for rapid vegetation growth. Long-lasting ARMORMAX has high tensile strength and flexibility, and interlock and reinforcement capacity with soil and root systems.

Tensar TriAx FilterGrid provides soil stabilization for paved and unpaved structures, including roadways, crane pads, airfields and other working surfaces. Tensar FilterGrid combines the soil stabilization of TriAx geogrid with the separation and filtration benefits of a nonwoven geotextile in a single composite layer, saving time and labor costs.

Textiles Coated International (TCI)

TCI’s EverLiner is for use as a secondary containment liner, geomembrane liner, geotextile and spill-containment materials for corrosive-containment, and high-temperature applications. EverLiner can withstand a wide range of temperatures, from –425°F (–254°C) to 600°F (316°C). Some of the benefits of TCI’s EverLiner material include its multidirectional strength, ultraviolet light resistance and stress crack immunity. This rugged material has excellent tear and puncture resistance, and it can be easily patched if damaged during installation using a simple and quick sealing process.

HUITEX GEOMEMBRANES find uses in mining (tailings dams, heap leach pads and evaporation ponds); waste management (landfills, hazardous containment and bioremediation); energy (coal seam gas, hydroelectric dams and coal ash); water conservation (channels, reservoirs/dams and stormwater); aquaculture business (shrimp/fish ponds and salt farms); and landscaping (golf courses and artificial lakes). PRESTORUS LLC

Weld-Free Geocell GEOSTEP is used for the strengthening of slopes of various steepness (from 20˚ to 65˚), the strengthening of coastal lines and channels of reservoirs, and the strengthening of the cones of bridges. The walls of GEOSTEP cells are perpendicular to the horizon, so the filler material is not subject to washing out or emptying from the cells, and, therefore, it is not necessary to carry out correction works every year. This allows savings up to 10% annually on the maintenance of the site.

High-performance STRATGRID SGU geogrids are useful for applications such as reinforced soil walls, reinforced soil slopes and embankments. The geogrids are manufactured using a high-strength polyester yarn with high tenacity and low creep properties, is precision knitted and includes a proprietary coating. Resistant to installation damage, STRATIGRID SGU has high mechanical, chemical and ultraviolet light durability. The geogrids can be used with imported and site-won materials and marginal fills, providing a big reduction in CO2 footprint. STRATAGRID SGU has a British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification.

With antislip, geolaminated safety surfaces, the ITL XGL product line is most effective for heavy traffic containment, oil/gas field drilling and completion sites, pad liners, and areas in need of high puncture resistance. Strong and lightweight, the ITL XGL products’ reinforced, multilayer coated woven polyethylene (CWPE) material can be custom fabricated into panels for greater weld integrity, less waste and efficient installation. ITL XGL products also eliminate the need for felt with proper subgrade, remain very flexible and easy to work with in extreme temperatures, and are 100% recyclable.

Miller Weldmaster

The Triad Extreme HS Basic welder is best for industrial material welding of geomembranes/liners, greenhouses, tarps and ground covers. It is Miller Weldmaster’s fastest portable welder. As either a stationary or self-propelled welder, the Triad Extreme HS Basic provides hands-free, single person operation from floor or table surfaces. It is efficient, versatile, quiet, easy to operate and fast. The Triad Extreme HS Basic will weld 65 feet (19.8 m) per minute on a wide variety of coated and noncoated textiles.

ATARFIL HD EVO is designed for site-specific formulation projects, such as hazardous waste, aluminia, sodium aluminate, sodium hydroxide and red mud. The geomembrane represents enhanced formulations, improved predictive testing methodologies and augmented service lifetimes. This capability for site-specific formulations allows key partnerships with asset owners and designers to prescreen and test a set of liners under site-specific environmental conditions. It benefits the owner both technically and economically by creating and customizing the most suitable geomembrane for site needs.

Forsstrom High Frequency AB

The MG-Flex welding machine joins any large and heavy products made of polyvinyl chloride or polyurethane, such as geosynthetics, biogas covers and structures. The MG-Flex has several key features, including a Z-guide for controlling overlaps up to 3.1 inches (80 mm) in width and an increased lift height (daylight) of welding head 7.5 inches (190 mm). All Forsstrom’s machines are equipped with a touch-screen computer and proprietary software, which help the operator achieve the best welding results.

STABBUDTEX is a woven geotextile. It can be manufactured of polyester (STABBUDTEX), polypropylene (STABBUDTEX PP) or polyvinyl-alcohol yarn (STABBUDTEX PVA). The geotextile is used in applications such as road and railway construction, waste management and hydraulic structures (landfills and dams), mining and mixed areas of use. STABBUDTEX provides three functions: reinforcement, separation and filtration. The geotextile has extreme tensile strength of up to 1,180,099 pound-force foot (1,600 kN/m) and proven durability of up to 120 years.

Ferguson Waterworks

Mirafi H2Ri is a unique woven geotextile used in unpaved roads, flexible pavements, working platforms, airport runways and taxiways, and railways, serving as soil stabilization and base course reinforcement. H2Ri provides the conventional woven geotextile functions of reinforcement, confinement, separation and filtration. But it also provides continuous moisture management. This means that the high-strength, long-lasting woven geotextile will continue to drain moisture from your base course, both in saturated and unsaturated conditions.

Solmax

GundSeal provides an effective alternative to conventional geomembranes and compacted clay liner (CCL) or fabric geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) liner installations. GundSeal is a fast, effective one-product sealing system for containment that cuts installation time and improves composite liner hydraulic performance. This liner system combines the low permeability of a 15-mil to 80-mil (0.4-mm to 2.0-mm) smooth or textured high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane with the self-seaming characteristics of bentonite clay.

Solmax

Solmax’s LiteEarth synthetic grass capping system is the only monolithic geosynthetic capping system. It is used on mine tailing closures, municipal waste, coal ash and industrial landfills. LiteEarth features a 40-mil (1-mm) linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane bonded to an advanced ultraviolet light-stabilized synthetic turf. It is fully anchored, and the spined monofilament grass eliminates the need for infill and reduces the risk of erosion.

PRESTORUS LLC

The Standard Geocell can be applied for load support, channel protection, earth retention and erosion control. It is primarily used in industrial and civil construction, roads and highways, railroads, mining, landfills, agricultural facilities, airports and ports, and oil and gas facilities. In pavement design, the sand layer reinforced with the Standard Geocell allows replacing the more expensive crushed stone layer, thus saving up to 20%. It helps increase the bearing capacity and load resistance of the structure, reducing deformation and contributing to longer service life.

AFITEX-Texel Geosynthetics Inc.

DRAINTUBE LFG is a multilinear drainage geocomposite composed of perforated minipipes regularly spaced between two geotextile layers. It can be used in multiple landfill applications, including landfill gas (LFG) collection on final covers, fugitive gas collection on temporary covers and horizontal LFG collection in the waste mass. DRAINTUBE can also be used in a sub-slab-depressurization system under buildings. DRAINTUBE LFG offers a significant zone of influence to collect gas. Rolls of the drainage geocomposite are light and easy to install.

Secutex Green is a 100% biodegradable, mechanically bonded separation and filtration nonwoven geotextile used for separation, filtration and protection. Typical fields of application are gardening and landscaping, temporary path and road construction, embankment protection/natural-related waterway construction, coastal protection (single nonwoven geotextile layer and/or sand containers) and scour protection (sand containers). Secutex Green offers reduced transport emissions and improved CO2 balance. Exclusively organic, natural and renewable raw materials are used in manufacturing.
