The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) released a call for presentations and special sessions for the Geosynthetics Conference 2020: CASE STUDIES, March 8–10, 2020, in Charleston, S.C. This is your opportunity to share your experiences with your colleagues through a 30-minute in-depth case study.
No formal papers are required. All accepted presenters must provide an extended abstract (1–2 pages) by Oct. 3, 2019. Select case studies will be featured in Geosynthetics magazine.
Due to this format, presentation slots will be limited. Special consideration will be given to projects that represent unique uses and challenges.
Case study proposals must be:
- 200–300 words in length
- Clearly written
- A project with a geosynthetics component
- Noncommercial
- Technically accurate
Special sessions
Special sessions are 75-minute-long sessions that are either in a different format or sponsored by a supporting organization. They can be panel or open discussions, training lectures or something completely out of the ordinary. Do you have an idea for a panel/open discussion, training lecture or something else? We’d love to hear about it.
Special session proposals must:
- Include a detailed description, 100–300 words in length
- Include potential panelist or other participants (this can change and is just to give the reviewers a clear picture of what you have in mind)
