IGS Georeinforcement & Geobarriers Workshops

The International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) is hosting two consecutive two-day workshops on georeinforcement and geobarriers at the Best Western Atrium Hotel in Munich, Germany. The workshops will emphasize discussion, with extensive interaction between the presenters and attendees. Appropriate for researchers and engineers in the geosynthetics field, the workshops will focus on applications such as mining, coal ash, infrastructure, MSE design and waste management.
ASTM Committee D35 on Geosynthetics

APWA PWX and IFME World Congress

The American Public Works Association (APWA), in conjunction with the International Federation of Municipal Engineering (IFME), will host the joint APWA Public Works Expo (PWX) and IFME World Congress at the Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Center. 11th International Conference on Geosynthetics

The 11th International Conference on Geosynthetics (11ICG) will be held at Coex in Seoul, South Korea, from Sept. 16 to 21, 2018. The Korean Geosynthetics Society (KGSS), the IGS Korea Chapter and host of the 11ICG, is expecting to attract more than 1,000 experts from more than 100 countries. Under the theme of “Geosynthetics: Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development,” a wealth of scientific programs has been prepared featuring geotechnical and geosynthetics experts.11ICG will offer 63 sessions.
