Propex launches online course on engineered earth armoring

Propex GeoSolution’s Engineering Services team is offering the free online course “Engineered Earth Armoring Solutions: An Alternative to Rock Riprap.” Those who complete the course, taught by Drew Loizeaux, engineering services manager at Propex, will earn earn 3 PDH credits.

Propex said learning objectives of the course include how to determine the hydraulic performance of engineered earth armoring solutions and rock riprap, the environmental benefits of engineered earth armoring solutions, how to efficiently use an engineered earth armoring solution in place of conventional solutions and what qualifications are required of an engineered earth armoring solution in order to provide long-term performance.
