The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has made the 53rd Karl Terzaghi Lecture from 2017’s Geotechnical Frontiers conference available online. The lecture, presented by Dr. R. Kerry Rowe, is entitled “Protecting the Environment with Geosynthetics: Success and Challenges,” and was presented March 14, 2017, at the conference in Orlando, Fla.
Rowe is professor and Canada research chair in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Geotechnical Frontiers was jointly sponsored by the Industrial Fabrics Association International Geosynthetics Materials Association and the Geo-Institute of ASCE, under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society.
