Geosynthetics 2019 conference sets theme

On Oct. 17, 2017, Barbara J. Connett, secretary general of the Geosynthetics 2019 conference in Houston, Texas, announced that the theme of the preeminent geosynthetics conference will be “Geosynthetics: Strengthening Infrastructure Safety, Reliability, and Longevity.”

The conference, to be held Feb. 10–13, 2019, at the Marriott Marquis Houston and sponsored by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), will feature four days of technical programming, including short courses, panel discussions and paper presentations, as well as three days of exhibits. The conference offers key opportunities to network with your peers, and share with them innovations and fresh ideas in geotechnical engineering using geosynthetics.
