April 10 for 2016 show in Miami
The organizers of GeoAmericas 2016 have extended the deadline for submission of abstracts to April 10, 2015.
The conference-April 10-13, 2016, in Miami-is the 3rd Pan-American Regional Conference on Geosynthetics. (Previous iterations were in Cancún, Mexico (2008) and Lima, Peru (2012).
GeoAmericas 2016 invites abstracts up to 400 words on topics such as:
- mining
- water and wastewater
- roads, ports, and railways
- slope stability & reinforced structures
- sustainability
- tunnels
- durability of geosynthetics
- waste management
- testing
- quality control & quality assurance (construction and manufacturing)

GeoAmericas organizers noted that the 2016 conference will conduct some events, such as the short courses, with Spanish and Portuguese-language options; but abstracts must be submitted in English.
