Auburn professor spoke at EC15 show in Portland, Ore.
The Denver-based International Erosion Control Association (IECA) announced in a March 18 press release that its Environmental Connection (EC) 2015 Presenter of the Year is Wesley C. Zech, Ph.D., LEED AP, for his presentation “Evaluation of inlet protection practices using large-scale testing techniques.”
The release quoted Zech: “My presentation focused on testing we have conducted in evaluating the performance of standard inlet protection practices using large-scale, channelized flows indicative of conditions experienced on construction sites.”
Zech is the Brasfield & Gorrie associate professor of construction engineering and management in the Department of Civil Engineering at Auburn University, currently teaches courses in construction engineering, construction safety and health management, and erosion and sediment control.
