Thrace-Linq adds engineering support

Two promotions at S.C. geosynthetics company

Thrace-Linq announced in an Aug. 7 press release two promotions at its
Summerville, S.C. facilities:

  • Deatrick Doctor to the position of process engineer.
  • George Lockwood Tupper IV to technical fabric sales support.

Doctor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from South Carolina State University. Tupper earned his
Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.

Davis Taylor, the company’s vice president of manufacturing, described the two as “rising stars within our experienced work
assembly…who are committed to serving the technical fabric needs of the geosynthetic and industrial markets.”

Thrace-Linq Inc. is a supplier of woven and nonwoven polypropylene-based technical fabrics for a variety of textile applications in the
Americas. Its corporate office and U.S. manufacturing and distribution center are in Summerville, S.C.
